Older adults are invited to join us each week for an opportunity to connect with others, participate in informational sessions and workshops, and share stories from their own lives.

Each week will offer a different opportunities–from board games and puzzles to wellness workshops and storytelling–but the overall goal is to create an ongoing space for social connection, meaningful conversation, and useful information.

This Week:

Alzheimer’s and other dementias cause memory, thinking and behavior problems that interfere with daily living. Join Amy Angelo from the Alzherimer’s Association to learn how to recognize common signs of the disease; how to approach someone about memory concerns; the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis; possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
