Join us as we design covers for our favorite sketch books, journals and treasured books. Make yours with pockets, button or belt closure, and/or a matching bookmark — you’re the designer! Make it original with your own applique (fabric collage) or embroidery. Work in felt or fabric, by sewing machine or by hand. Beginning sewists welcome! No prior experience necessary* but complete beginners must be accompanied by their adult to work one on one in learning basic skills of threading a needle and tying a knot for their first few meetings. All sewing materials provided- bring your favorite book or journal to cover.
