Sewing Adventures: Machine Sewing Pillows + Bean Bags

For ages 8+. Make a decorative pillow for your own room, or make a hand-sized bean bag.  In this workshop sewists will learn sewing construction skills and try out using a sewing machine. We will go over seam allowance, operating a sewing machine, and back stitching. Sewists are welcome to practice hand sewing skills, embroidery and applique to make their pillows unique.  Beginning sewists welcome!  No prior experience necessary* but complete beginners must be accompanied by their adult to work one on one in learning basic skills of threading a needle and tying a knot for their first few meetings.  All materials provided.
