Join us as we cut up donated sweaters and embellish them with embroidery and tassels to make mittens. Make them for yourself, or trace a loved one’s hand on paper to get their size and bring the paper along as the start to your pattern. Sew by hand with decorative embroidery floss, or stitch them up with zig-zag stitch by machine. Beginning sewists welcome!  No prior experience necessary, but complete beginners must be accompanied by their adult to work one-on-one to learn basic skills of threading a needle and tying a knot.
